Acer hits a true 1,000Hz at 1080p, but the Predator XB253Q U1 costs €1,099
Acer has pushed its esports displays into four-digit territory. The Predator XB253Q U1 runs a 24.5-inch Full HD IPS panel at a native 1,000Hz, rather than lowering resolution to reach its maximum refresh rate. It launches in the first quarter of 2027, starting at €1,099 in Europe and $1,099.99 in North America.

Acer reaches 1000Hz at 1080p, shrinking the refresh interval to one millisecond
Acer's 1000Hz display is no longer a trade-show experiment. The Predator XB253Q U1 runs 1920 × 1080 at that refresh rate on a 24.5-inch IPS panel. At this point, however, the monitor itself is only part of the problem: refreshing every millisecond is useful when the rest of the rendering and input chain can keep up.
